Many times, I've tried to start a blog. I promised myself that this will be the last.
I'm going to focus on things that are facing my generation; whether you want to call us the Millennials, Generation Y, or anything else besides, we 20-somethings are facing a tough time in history to come into our own.
This is a series of stories about what it takes to survive in the yawning metropolitan world that most of us inhabit as urban dwellers. I want to write about our jobs, our politics, and our collective philosophies.
Most of all, though, I want to write about what it means to be part of a generation with incredible adversity facing us: the world's economy is in a slump, climate change is showing signs of becoming seriously dangerous to our species, and the vast majority of our leaders continue to live by the mantra that the future is someone else's problem.
And they are right. It's our problem.
